Raspberry Chipotle Monte Cristo
INGREDIENTS:
- Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
- Blues Hog Truffle & Chop Seasoning
- 3 Pieces White Bread
- Ham Slices
- 6 Slices Swiss Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- Powdered Sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a shallow disk, whisk together eggs and milk. Preheat oven to 350.
- Melt the butter on a large skillet over medium heat.
- Begin to stack ingredients. Start with Raspberry Chipotle, followed by turkey, ham, 2 slices of swiss cheese, and finish with the bread stack layer. There should be two stacks like this. Layer and top with the third piece of single bread.
- Press down on sandwich to hold together. Place in the egg wash for a light coating and then toast on buttered skillet for 4-6 minutes or until golden. Gently flip and toast on the other side. Finally, place in oven to warm overall for 8-15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
- Remove and coat in a layer of powdered sugar, topped with a drizzle of Raspberry Chipotle or on the side for dipping. Slice and serve warm!
